Cookie dough ice cream

The best combo there is! Homemade cookie dough ice cream! It’s so easy to make and just with a few ingredients. So much cheaper and tastier to make yourself than to buy it in the supermarket. Are you gonna make it this summer? You can make 1 tray of ice cream with this recipe!

Ingredients:

For the edible cookie dough:

  • 75 g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 70 g light brown sugar
  • 25 g granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 80 g flour
  • 70 gram mini chocolate chips

For the ice cream:

  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g sweet condensed milk

Directions:

  1. To make the cookie dough edible, we need to put the flour in the oven at 180 degrees for 4 minutes. To do this, place the flour on a baking tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven.
  2. When the flour is ready, put all the ingredients of the cookie dough together except the chocolate chips. When you have a nice dough ball, add the chocolate chips.
  3. Roll small balls of the cookie dough, we will put these in the ice cream later.
  4. For the ice cream, we whip up the cream. We do this by first beating the cream for 2 minutes, then slowly add the condensed milk and the vanilla extract. Then beat for about 4 minutes till whipped cream.
  5. Spread half of the whipped cream on a tray. Spread the balls of cookie dough on top. Then add the other half of the whipped cream and decorate the ice cream with some extra chocolate chips.
  6. Now put the whole thing in the freezer for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!
